Anyone from infants to up to 100 years old!
Deaf, Deafblind, hard of hearing, CODA (Children of Deaf Adult), Auslan students, Auslan interpreting students, anyone who wants to learn Auslan for the first time during the walk. ANYONE!
Hikes in Auslan are 2.3 to 7.6km long. Each hike can be adjusted to include time for sitting and chatting. Hikes can also be shortened to 200m to 1km to suit disability and chronic illness needs.
You will be immersed in Auslan more quickly compared to traditional tutoring. You will enjoy being in nature while learning Auslan. You will also improve your critical thinking with no sugarcoating about Auslan language and Deaf culture.
